Wedgwood Queensware

Becoming world renowned for their beautiful designs along with their attention to quality and craftsmanship, Wedgwood was commissioned in 1765 by the English queen to create a complete set of his china for the royal family. Josiah Wedgwood created a new earthenware style of china which so impressed the Queen, she gave Wedgwood permission to market it as "Wedgwood Queensware".

Some of the most collectible pieces of the Wedgwood Company come from this style of china. For those of you who enjoy collecting antique Wedgwood china, Queensware has been produced for almost 250 years and certain pieces from this collection could prove to be extremely valuable for years to come.
